Verschneiter Berggrat - snowy mountain ridge

Ich weiß, eigentlich ist es noch zu früh, allen steckt immer noch der viel zu lange und kalte letzte Winter in den Knochen – und doch kann ich es nicht lassen heute nochmal ein Winterbild zu posten. Diese Schneeformation habe ich im Skigebiet Obergurgl (Ende vom Ötztal in Österreich) aufgenommen. Mit den Skiern bin habe ich mich etwas abseits der Piste bewegt und mich an diesen Grat gewagt.  Was man nicht sieht, es war unglaublich windig, die Eiskristalle sind wie kleine Nadeln geflogen und es war irre kalt. Da lohnen sich ganz dünne Handschuhe, um den Auslöser noch betätigen zu können.

I know, it is too early to talk about the winter as the last cold and long one is sticking in your bones – but – I have to post afresh a new picture from the winter. I captured this snow formation in the alps of austria at the and of the valley “Ötztal” in Obergurgl. Abroad the pists I nervy went with my ski close to the mountain ridge. What you can’t see – it was incredible windy, the snow cristals were flying like needles and it was f.. cold. It was worthwhile having thin gloves beyond the plump skiing gloves so that I could control the release.
